Class 2 Removals Driver

Global Reach Staffing Solutions are recruiting for the position of a removals driver and must hold a valid UK licence with no more than 6 points.

Great progression offered to become a HGV class 2 driver for the right candidate.

The removal driver is to carry out removal and storage work using company vehicles and equipment and to represent our company mainly throughout the UK.

Candidates will need to be physically fit and ideally have their own transport to get to and from work.

You will be able to work as part of a team and occasionally on your own. You will be visiting various locations around the UK carrying heavy items of furniture, the ideal candidate will have a good work ethic, good attitude with excellent service skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

To carry out removals as part of a removal team working locally and across the UK.

To assist as part of a packing or unpacking team in customers homes or on deep-sea exports or imports of household goods

To carry out UK, commercial and office removals

To ensure that all schedules agreed with customers are maintained, or where this is not possible to ensure that branch management and customer are kept aware of any required change to schedule.

To ensure that all paperwork related to daily activities is completed in an accurate and returned to the office in a timely manner

To ensure that company vehicles and equipment are kept in a tidy, serviceable and roadworthy state at all times
