As our Engineering CAD Technician, you'll dive headfirst into the exciting world of design and drafting. Working closely with our esteemed Senior Design Engineer, you'll be the driving force behind our departmental objectives, from concept development to final production. Your main missions include:
Developing concepts from scratch to production for new products and components.
Assessing Engineering Change Notes and implementing design changes where necessary.
Revising and updating existing drawings to ensure accuracy and reflect design modifications.
Maintaining meticulous design documentation, adhering to procedures and quality standards.
Collaborating with Cell Leaders, Operators, and suppliers to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Contributing to new product idea generation through research and supplier sourcing.
Supporting Production Engineering and Sales teams with design-related issues.
Ensuring BOM accuracy within the ERP system for seamless production processes.
Expanding your knowledge and skills in new product design and materials understanding.
Requirements:
Proficiency in CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, Fusion, Inventor, Solid Edge, or CATIA.
Passion for innovation and a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
